Doug was first introduced to UK hardcore back in 1997 with his first tape pack being, “Helter Skelter: The Voyager”. He then attended his first rave which was, Slammin’ Vinyl 21/11/97 @ Bagleys. After that it was all about the UK hardcore sound for Doug and he went to all the raves for many many years.
During this journey, it was in early 2006 that he got into MC’in but in late 2008, DJ’in and producing became the trait that Doug Horizon found a passion for and could really focus on. Since then he has worked with the likes of Eufeion, DJ UFO, Hattrixx, Fracus, Darwin, Stabilize and most recently Chris Ross who was his introduction to the unique UK hardcore label that is, NSR Records.
